About Me

I'm excited to be joining you all at Al-Iman School! I received my Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis and moved to Raleigh about three years ago. I am an enthusiastic educator embarking on my first year as a middle school instructor. Despite being a newcomer to the classroom, I bring with me a wealth of experience gained through years of math tutoring. Throughout my tutoring journey, I honed my ability to break down complex concepts, tailor instruction to individual needs, and guide students toward academic success and personal growth.

As a middle school math teacher, my goal is to not only equip students with mathematical skills, but also to inspire a lifelong love for learning and problem-solving. Algebra is one of the most important areas of study for math, as it's applied in many other fields such as chemistry, biology, physics, engineering, economics, and much more. Having a solid understanding of Prealgebra and Algebra is the foundation for a successful education - I'm looking forward to building that foundation with my students this year, inshAllah!
