About Me!
I am excited to join the Al-Iman community!
I completed my Bachelors in Religion and Middle Eastern Studies and have my Masters in Religious Studies, both from Rutgers University. I had the pleasure of teaching at my alma mater, along with teaching middle and high school students at an Islamic school in New Jersey. After relocating to North Carolina, I transitioned to the public school system as a high school English teacher.
Community work has always held great importance in my life. To this end, I am excited to be a part of the Al-Iman team. I am passionate about helping our Muslim youth cultivate confidence, commitment, and conviction in their deen. It is an honor to be able to work with the future leaders of our ummah.
