Parent Portal Instructions

 

Keeping an open communication with parents is a pivotal part of student success. At Al Iman, we are always striving to improve communication with our parents to foster collaboration and ensuring students are meeting their fullest potential.  To access please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Parent Portal Login on the right hand side
  2. To activate your account, click Forgot Your Password. Use the e-mail you provided the school and enter School Code: 70848.
  3. You will receive an email to create your password. Once this is complete, you can go back to log into your parent portal. 
  4. Once you have logged in, you will be directed to your child’s information. If you have more than one child attending Al Iman, you will find a drop down bar next to Student Portal to choose which child you would like to access. Please update EACH one of your children’s profile. 
  5. The left hand column gives you access to the following information:
    1.  Messages: Any important messages from the school will be found here. You will still receive messages via texts and e-mail through School Messenger.
    2. Student: This is where your child’s information is. It is REQUIRED to update EACH child’s profile. Please keep this up to date. Don’t forget to click SAVE after all updates.
      1. To update address, please click on your login name on the top right hand corner. 
        1. Click Profile
        2. Add the current address and make sure the “Use Same Address As Children” box is checked. Click save
    3. Grades: You can find your child’s current grades in each subject under this tab.  Scroll down to see all your child’s assignment grades. If you click details, this will provide you the standards that are linked to the assignment so you’re aware of what the assignment entailed. 
    4. Assignments: This provides you access to upcoming assignments so you’re aware of due dates for your child.
    5. Attendance: A history of your child’s attendance.
    6. Incidents: If your child has had any incidents in the school, it will be found here.
    7. Statistics: Here you can see how your child is progressing across all subjects and standards. 
    8. Volunteer: This will give you access to how many school hours parents have volunteered. Parents who opted from volunteering and chose to pay will see all their hours have been met. If there is a discrepancy, please contact the front office.
