About Me!

My name is Maria Khader. I have a background in Computer Science and Programming, and this will be my 12th year in elementary education. Prior to joining Al-Iman School, I taught as a homeroom teacher at the Cognia-accredited International Independent School (IIS) in Amman, Jordan.

Throughout my teaching career, I have gained extensive experience in child-centered pedagogy and in teaching English, Math, and Science. I am passionate about building positive relationships with my students and creating a classroom environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and inspired to discover their unique strengths and reach their academic potential.

This will be my fifth year as part of the Al-Iman School family, and I am grateful to continue serving as a 2nd grade homeroom teacher. I look forward to another wonderful year of learning, growth, and meaningful experiences with my students. May Allah (swt) bless our school community and make this a successful and rewarding academic year for all.
