programs like one of the things that we're making just to be friends with whatever they are not going to have a gym building to stand up for myself from day one that's one of the things that we need to start working on dry immediately after we understand because it's not so much of a tablet having the funds are having the time to build these additional facilities that are soft or approvals from the town of Cary that has to be done and they're very meticulous very small working through that process example I asked for my 12 to 18 months just to get approval from the town so we want to wait for that before we start moving into the existing building and start bringing in the kids on the waiting list it might makes it actually makes more sense to just start there and then start building improvement from that point on next Friday are they gonna think we're working on it though so we're making sure that our transaction contractual language and germs are surely a compliance and heavily the bank and by the school because as far as we are aware that is not technically Islamic we were using the least known structure in doing that structure we expect our monthly lease payments to be about $130,000 and I will pay you back on the high-end I see some places already like 130000 hours we are thinking about the worst case scenario this hours doing this work we are aggressively working to find every mechanism possible to lower this number on top of that we spent about $20,000 a month to maintain the building somebody has to mow the lawn somebody has to pay the electric bill you have to pay for the water and so on and so forth they cost at the new school will be about $150,000 next line I drunk a lot comments about 16 million dollars this is so much and my response to you all is schools are expensive there's a reason they're expensive schools and education are the most important investment you will make as a community if you want an example look at our own government Wake County the B was a 500 today would spank us to 105 billion dollars we are spending only 16 million dollars 85% discount to what Wake County would pay next line if you want to know more details we looked at the Lake County budget for new schools over the next six years over the next six years Bay County plans to build 11 new school that was her about 12,500 students that would yield about 2 million square feet of space with a budget of 2.6 billion with a B 2.6 billion dollars that's 239 million dollars that is equivalent of $1,262 per square foot of space public schools are investing in $210,000 per investing about the level of investment the elements. send 500 student a 31000 square-foot building 16 million-dollar dust now if you break it down for student in per square foot you can see we are spending a frac at what weight County would spend the school if we were doing this project the way we are we spending only $32,000 compared to $210,000 now I don't know how you don't feel I'm up here an item I love this community I love the Muslim study more than anybody else on education we should have the best schools in the country and everybody should be lining up come to our tradition we lead when it comes to now acacia I've also got this question what do you want to build a new school from the ground up how much would it cost if you bought throwing up completely random market-based by based on the Patriot project dangerous spending $350 per square foot to build the 4:11 building that building is building do you have to have more furniture in dollars per square foot to build a new school the same size building anywhere brand new will get back to you about $13 so when you combine the price depend Elite Advanced + 13 million dollars a brand new project of the same size the same amount of land the same amount of square feet would be 18 to 23 billion dollars the largest project in the triangle as far as I'm aware but we need more context this is the reality this is the context of investment in schools in facilities now another question we get on how can we afford to make these payments over 30 years that's a lot of money did you take the $530,000 per month Just joking about the waiting list I think that's a conversation that doesn't even need a discussion about the priorities of so I think we need to be more strategic in terms of how soon we can get into a high school situation and be able to build that program honest all right so we bout to do a number to get to go party with Morgan but now but this is more to cover the front of the school to have them size of Bali okay Mart number sorry before we jump into the numbers I want to add a comment about the developer because there's been some feedback about this topic as well this is a small project in the world of real estate development I want to say that out loud because I understand that for the community 60 million dollars is a lot of money in the real estate industry 16 million dollars is like a couple of mass food restaurants it's a relatively small project in the development community so I say that because we got some feedback well who's the development partner can we understand more about that talk about a quick second if you don't mind I want to address this development Partners a local organization based in Raleigh the family-owned development business any of you here know about tmsa TMS a triangle Math and Science Academy and built tmsa they built the original property and carry their building the new tmsa campus in middle schools in Charlotte Asheville and darling Florida Texas and they're based in Raleigh this is what they do as their Core Business it's a small business it's a few family members and additional staff and they met drop it off of development as developers do it to the developer this is something I want to make sure you all are aware of and I know how much I'll let the Muslim Community we have this beautiful tradition of doing things for the sake but don't be surprised when people in the business World Muslim or not want to do things for the sake of all. And one of a Prophet this is the reality they're going to make a profit on this project and guess what that should be okay with us if there was any of us in our businesses looking to make a profit and and we are structuring the deal in as much a way possible to protect our interest we have lawyers designers planners and I are sitting here we're working on this project and are trying to ensure that the deal is good is it near height is a perfect isn't bulletproof No No Such Thing exists I work in this business I'm sure many of you have business of your own there is no such thing as a perfect airtight Blue Room transaction doesn't exist this group is working aggressively the closest many loopholes or issues or concerns as possible to make this reality a part of that is understanding what it takes to make the school financially viable number one we have to grow Eric Roman today we're out about 300 kids we technically have a capacity of 300 we've squeezed 334 into that space we need to grow 150 kids on day one in Charlotte next ball X August still open then we need to grow up by about 25 kids for year until we get to work and pasta D not doing consequent staying in the exact same building that first building all the way through no we hope the girls building will have additional space maybe we'll have modular classrooms also known as trailers if you've ever been to a public school that's growing they have trailers everywhere this is the reality of school when you are building and growing US Pool the marginal cost for establishing a space is tight enough and complex and time-consuming and not the cheat to fill that Gap with trailer we will likely pursue that approach as the school to grow but it called the grown up over 500 kids with in a 5 years. Lol text line we need to increase tuition to address inflation and make this project a reality this is a fact the community have been paying very very very very low equation for many many years in North Carolina the private school Community today is paying $9,696 in tuition per child is that 1500 or already below average in the state public schools their Benchmark Public School spend $12,000 per year per child educate their children so we have to go onto a ship this is an unavoidable fact you'll see that we contemplate going a little over $9,000 in the first year and then from there growing up to a $11,000, I know many of you are looking at that and getting there it's a very natural reaction a lot of money for child but next line We Believe very much animals can you give me the acceptable to anybody who wants to speak Islamic so we can set it up where to go and eat whenever we make decisions and we are a huge user of the opportunity scholarship please raise your hand if you know what the opportunity scholarship is good the goal today is that by the end of this day a hundred percent you should know what the opportunity scholarship is a long time in our community it has been described as the state welfare program that is not in accurate description the opportunity scholarship is a school voucher program is a voucher not allow a program Voucher Program Voucher Program are designed so that family who choose to send their children to other non-public schools get money to make it easier and more accessible now right now the opportunity scholarship as an income threshold $130,000 household income for a family of four that is not a welfare program $130,000 household income for a family of court so my comment I got smoke it's fine if you don't already know about the opportunity scholarship please go to the website and if you are eligible to buy get that money it is going to save you money no matter what the decision is with the school the state of North Carolina and our legislature has proposed a significant expansion the opportunity scholarship this is one of those this is elastic read the Muslim Community unfortunately another this happen from Alcatraz control in the state legislature the state legislature has a program Beginning by removing income limits that means every can get State doctoral program money every single person every household every child enrollment in the opportunity scholarship next year and highest earning people I mean million-dollar incomes have more will get $3,300 per year per child for this voucher program so that's the number you called at 9,000 changed 1011 thousand dollars out of the pocket in this program has been approved by the legislature there just debating some number to state budget it should pass by next program up and running for the medium and lower-income households Georgia bus you can get up to $7,300 per child for this program is $10,000 2007 dollars out-of-pocket. Is accessibility we had nothing to do with that and yes I'm kind of LOL I have delivered this program on our doorstep is tuition increases not only you will likely experience a decrease in your cost money one month and your cash savings the next item is in our lease we have identified terms that allow us to reset the least bacon cheaper eventually so right now the least payment you got the number we think that in a couple of years as the economy changes and as one of the world's a balls that there will be romance or we can ask the property owner to change the terms of the lease and make that amount lower it like we're making out to turn in the lease and lastly if we have no other option we come to you all and ask you to support the school this community has supported the school for 30
