Learning Objective: Recall the events that lead up to the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Identify the pre-Islamic era and the family lineage of the Messenger of Allah in order to develop a sound understanding of the life of jahliyyah before Islam.

- Recognize the early history of Makkah as it relates to Haajar and Ismail (as)
- Identify the lineage of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi wa sallam).
