recorded so just to let everybody know it is being being it will be recorded and it will be shared uh with all our families by tomorrow inshallah in case um you want to review something you missed something um or you know people who can't get in right now just let them know that we will be sharing um the recording inshallah sorry there we go um today's agenda inshallah we um if you don't know my uh the admin team is in the office all most of the summer uh working through um what the upcoming school year would look like taking a look back reflecting on things that went well things that need to be improved and then looking forward um in what we want to accomplish for the upcoming school year focusing on and coming up with school goals catered to our school is the 1 part of the work we do in the summer uh looking at our policies and procedures again what worked well what needs to be updated what were families and staff um and Community saying that they wanted changes in this is an area we also work on um we will also just give you a high level um information about our student handbook the important things however we will be sharing with you next week are um in-depth student policy handbook it is very it is an in-depth um document so um but we encourage for you to keep it as a reference and then just some important information that you'll need for the first week of school uh which is next week our school goals that we are focusing on this school year is the first 1 is in instructional Excellence to increase the use of active collaborative instructional strategies to build across all subjects to build student agency ownership of learning and depth of thinking it is really important for us that our students own their learning are motivated to learn and take responsibility of their learning and that is 1 thing that we are looking to Foster this school year the second area is School Safety and Security um for our physical spaces we know that we have to strengthen measures um at both campuses and that takes a everybody not just us but also partnering with you so there are some things that we will be asking for our family from our families this year um so to ensure that we have consistent implementation as well of supervision secure entry procedures and emergency preparedness and finally working to update our diagnostics for our religious studies programming we do diagnostics which are um for our kindergarten through 8th um tests that we give beginning year and end of year we are a growth model School which means we don't expect everyone to be at 100 but we do expect that everybody is growing and moving forward uh that is what we want from all our students and our diagnostic testing does help um us help to helps us see that growth so first we're going to dive right into our new policies and procedures the first 1 that um we are going to focus on is School Safety and Security if you are returning family you know at the end of the year we do send surveys on ways to improve School uh Safety and Security was 1 of the ones that we saw several families uh discuss and give an input on so as a school here there are some areas that we will be working we are working towards 1 is that all our stuff we want the most CPR certified in case there's any emergency that they are equipped to handle the emergency we um our our staff will be participating in annual and midyear train paintings on supervision security protocols um we will continue to practice emergency drills according to our safe school safety plan this is something that we have always done and will continue to do including fire drills lockdowns all the emergency drills that are um conduct quarterly Audits and determine areas of improvement so kind of see where we are and how we can keep improving and reinforcing expectations for for secure entry visitor management and student supervision if you are a returning family you will notice um a change when you are visiting our building you will now be our expectations for parents will will be to check in uh check in each time you visit um any of our buildings the white building the red building at our Atwater campus and our page Road campus we will have a kiosk in all 3 buildings and we ask that when you come to volunteer you visit you know your class read or whatever you may be to please um visit the kiosk first scan your driver's license get a badge and where at all times when you are on the school campus um that means you will have to remember to have your bring your driver's license with you uh so please make sure that you have that readily available we try all our families uh and all um and anybody who is a part of our community but we do know that um it is important to identify if you are a visitor for our staff because you know I might know all of you random might know all of you but our staff will not and it's important that they also feel comfortable with the people who are there so this is for all of us um to work together towards so this is something we will expect our parents to do um and another thing that we would like our families to do is to make sure that you complete the student profile and profile attributes attributes questionnaire on school Pro um first new families if you are an aware schoolpro is our school information system that's where you went to apply for your child um and our schoolpro is where all our authorizations are this year we're also asking for a background check uh some questions um within School Pro so this is the time to go ahead to log in to take care of those things um before we get the school started and we all get even busier another new policy that we will have this year is our Weather policy uh before uh for several years we used to just follow our County uh our Atwater campus followed the decisions from Wake County and all right and our page campus follow Durham County this year we will be taking a hybrid approach and this is also a really based on the survey data that we got from our families uh the survey data about 50% of the families that a hybrid approach is what they would like uh 25% said to continue following Wake County 10% didn't have a preference and 15 said you know we should just do everything our own so we went with the majority because we felt that was something that we could um sustain so our we will be having a hybrid approach to her whether a policy the school will follow whether related closest delays and early dismissals of our local public school district for the first 2 consecutive days instructional days of any weather event and then on the third day we will make our own Independent School decision so with that of course you can read on the screen all the different um all the in factors considered and so forth but it is really important that you are on our communication um that you are getting our Communications because in in an event of emergency or like the you know whether issues and so forth so you would be well informed uh so inshallah that is a big change for us this year last year we had several days off because of the weather we don't know but the anomaly or if it's the trend I guess we will wait and see in jaw what happens um some of our policies that we do have we do implement or just because what is happening around us um I is the big thing everybody is talking about it so of course as a school we have updated our policies our ours policies for staff as well as students uh our students may use approved AI tools for educational purposes when permitted by their teacher they may not submit AI generated work as their own use AI during assessments without a permission input any confidential student or family information use AI to create harmful or inappropriate or misleading content uh teachers may require students disclose any AI use and any violations would constitute academic dishonesty and we would follow our policy on that um we hope we don't have to get there but it is important that our families are aware of that policy we also have um social media it's best if your kids are off social media um I'll be really transparent about that advice but if your kids are on social media we ask that they respect staff and classmates online avoid cyberbullying avoid sharing any private information of anybody avoid any recording others without permission avoid posting content that disrupts the school environment and any off-campus behavior that substantially affects School operations may result in disciplinary action even if those questions are happening uh somewhere else when we're not in school but if they are filtering into our school day that is becoming a big issue uh there will be just an disciplinary action that will take place uh we are very excited this year to continue with our sports teams if you were with us last year you know that our girls and boys basketball teams brought a lot of school spirit we will be continuing with our basketball teams inshallah when basketball season gets started but we will also have our soccer boys soccer and girls volleyball teams which will start in the fall our first games I think are in the first week of school um but with that it's very important that our students we want them to do well um on court and on the field but we also want to make sure that they are representing School our school and the best way possible so um we do have a student athletic code of content conduct um that students must follow both in the academic um realm as well as in their character and and display good sportsmanship and good character because of all above all we want to make sure that our students are have um good character good manners good morals when they are playing against others now I'm going to those were all our new updates but now I'll go ahead and go through the important takeaways from a student handbook if you have been a family with us uh there's not that many changes but it's important that we remind 1 another because weekend sometimes forget uh first of all arrival and pickup school hours for both campuses um the schools the doors open at 7:30 and at 7:45 assembly begins on all uh in all 3 buildings white building red building and uh Paige Road it's um it's good to get your kids there by 7:45 assembly is a great time where we start our morning off with Dua remembrance of Allah important announcements so it's good for your kids to be there at 7:45 it's a fun way and it's also a fun way to start off the school day however students are tardy after 8 oclock um so we do our drop off does run from 7:30 to 8 oclock at 801 students are tardy uh 15 plus tardies recorder do will result in student probation so please make sure your kids on are on time get your routines um and you know your procedure is down at home so that everybody has a has a smooth morning and they can get to school on time uh dismissal starts at 305 it does not start a minute before um those of you who have been with us know that we do not start a second before and it ends at 3:25 if you are a family who has a long working hours and cannot pick up on time we do have Aftercare services for 3 from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. you do have to register um your child we do have drop-in days if there are some days you know uh that you need some extra care and um though all those forms are available online or you can contact our front office at both buildings and they will go ahead and give you that information if you are not enrolled in after care and it is passed uh 3:30 and your children are not picked up you will be charged 5 dollars per minute for a up um you know just because you know we all have to get going and and move on to our next part of our day and we want to make sure that all our staff is able to get home in a timely manner important reminders please do not pick of your children between 2:30 and 3:00 unless you have let the office know beforehand and that they have some sort of Point appointment it shouldn't be that you are like at in the area picking up something and you know you decide let me pick up my child at 2:45 it just disrupts our um end of day um you know when we're starting getting ready for dismissal and carpool so if you do have appointments please pick up your children before this time um the office in both campuses is closed 1:30 to 2 because it is the hard time and we do encourage our staff um to take that time for Salah as in you know as an Islamic school so that time the office is closed so if you do need to pick up your child early you know you can do it right after 2 oclock before 2:30 and be on your way but please uh be mindful of the times if there's emergency that's a different um this different situation but if it is something plan please be mindful of the times um mashallah both our campuses um share uh with the i uh with the massager then page in Atwater so there are obviously jimos Salah is happening we asked um and and many times our families will come and say um you know they were there for second shift Jim Mom I'm just going to pick up the kids after afterwards we are a full days on Fridays we are not half days um and we do still have teaching and learning yes your kids will say yeah just pick me up early it's okay we're not doing anything no they are doing stuff um so please don't pick them up early after gymna please uh pick them up at the normal time if there's an appointment or something that's fine but we ask that um they finish up the school day um um any extended absence and I'll talk about more in the next slide does require an approval from me via email um when it comes to attendance attendance is uh legal responsibility of the parent to make sure that their child is in if your child um is not in school and it has now exceeded it is 20 or more days then uh there are ramifications for that so please make sure that your children are in school um if child is sick um has an illness that they need to be isolated that there's a death in the family there are some doctor's appointments or other appointments or there are court orders please make sure that you send that communication to the office or to their teacher and that will be considered an excused absence so you have unexcused and excused absences um unexcused cannot be more than 20 excused um there's no limit on it but it obviously it should be in with in reason reasonable amount but please communicate if there is an excused absence that way we know your child is out for a specific reason an extended absence is an absence more than 5 consecutive days um there are times family do need to travel of the country and they need to take more time if that does happen you do have to contact me um I will tell you um that I do encourage families especially uh specifically in this is for kindergarten to eighth grade preschool um you don't have any um you don't requirements for attendance but it's good to be there um for um any families I do consider pleased that there is travel Michelle we send our calendar out really early please travel at the times of school is closed attendance is number 1 predictor of Student Success if your kids are there you have done all we can ask for so please uh try to avoid extra travel um early release early dismissal um delayed um delayed drop off to be considered present in school a child has to be in school for 3 and a half hours um if you had a rough if you had a lot of things going on and you decide you're going to drop your child off at 1:00 they will still be considered absent um if your child comes in at 8:00 clock gets sick and has to leave by 9:00 that will still be considered an absent because they are not in school the entire school day they're not they have they're not in school for the amount of time that is on the slide um parent volunteers parent are a big part of our school Community we do expect that parents dedicate at least 20 hours of year of volunteer time to the school um it really brings a lot to our school when families come and and volunteer and our teachers um and our staff members and our ptso and us do put out a lot of opportunities for parent parent volunteering we ask that parents volunteer um all volunteers must check in the kiosk like I mentioned earlier found in all 3 buildings parents who not complete their 20 hours will be charged $200 in June uh we really don't have any exceptions for this um because we do we really if I it's very important that we have volunteers come um and support us um and there's no refunds so please don't forget to track your hours there have been times families uh have come and put so much time into the school but they don't track their hours um and then there's no way we can know that you completed so please if you're that we want you to help here but please make sure you track your hours with the front office in both campuses uh this year we are introducing parent committees uh we uh we there are areas that we want to keep developing at the school and we need help of our parents this year we are introducing 4 parent committees to support our growth 1 is our the first 1 is our alumni committee and this is to support and enhance the school's continuing relationship with alimento graduates and alumni parents this is in this would involve phone calls texts emails uh to update alumni and to create a database to include supporting and Staffing events and invite alumni to make sure that they keep that connection with the school the second committee we're looking for are athletic committee to support the school's efforts to establish an athletic programs to participate in local competitive leagues mashallah um for the past last year and this year it's we've been relying on just in a couple of individuals who have really taken this on but we'd love to see more family support us in this area fundraising obviously this is always an important part of all of um Islamic schools so to have support us in our fundraising efforts and Hospitality just to support admin and teachers with any school events things we need help um as in you know just to serve as an auxiliary role to provide the school with volunteers we can call on as we need a lot of things are happening at the school all the time and sometimes we just need people and so it would be great if we just had a group of people we could call and depend inshallah these parent committees are something new that we are um introducing and we'll be sending out a form um in the upcoming weeks uh to get this started inshallah so look out for that uh Reed Reed first thing that we were prescribed to do and this is um the number 1 thing we ask of all of our families is pleased to read all the communication that gets sent out I send a weekly update every Friday around 3 oclock I sent my first 1 last Friday if you got it I'll send another 1 tomorrow and in those weekly updates there are School updates calendar events any new things happening um I try to and I we try not to flood your inbox with emails every single day we know we have all of us got a lot of communication so we really try to streamline um everything in that Friday communication so please uh keep a lookout for it um School emails we like I just said we try not to send too many but in the beginning of the year you should expect that we you will get a lot of communication just make sure you check your email daily for any important updates reminders permission forms if you are not receiving School emails please call 1 of the front offices at the 2 campuses and they'll be able to help you some families have created emails just just so they can get school emails so it get lost in the other emails whatever works for you um please go ahead and do that because it's important to keep to stay updated with what's happening at the school um teachers and our teachers also send weekly updates on Mondays they send newsletters and what's coming for the week the weekly overview was sent I also important class updates so please go ahead and make sure that you are reading all those items that the teacher sent a lot of the it's important a lot of important information that they're sending and finally the school calendar you where all our events holidays teacher work days everything is posted and it is found on our website here you can go ahead and subscribe to it and it'll just integrate with your own Calendar please make sure please notice that the school calendar calendar is different for Atwater and page so please just click um on whichever campus your child is at so that you can go ahead and be up to date of what's Happening uh the events um are already there for the upcoming school year we um we've been working on that to make sure um everything is updated for you so you can plan accordingly uh this is a decision tree basically who do you ask when you have questions or concerns if you have questions about extended absences feedback concerning policies procedures and so forth please contact the admin team which be myself and sister Anna via email phone conference whatever you need where around so please go ahead and contact us us if you have questions about student progress class activities homework field trips so forth please uh contact the teacher directly um for example if 1 of our grades has a field trip I'm sure I know where they're going but if you ask me the details I will not know all the details uh so it's good to make sure that you ask uh the people who are in charge of of those areas if you have any questions about any unresolved grievances um expansion planning strategic planning the big big ticket items for Ali school please contact our Ali Mann school committee uh chair um and our Ali Mann school committee members all their information is also on our website with their um email addresses so feel free to contact them for those issues um if you have any questions regarding school events activities volunteering general information you can contact the front office if you have any questions related to ptso events uh you can contact our ptso board at both campuses and if you have any questions regarding finances you contact our find our business manager brother met her um we are mashallah now a um our staff is close to 60 staff members over 3 campuses 400 students um it is natural that conflicts will happen during the Academic Year there might be misunderstandings between students parents and teachers and the best way to resolve this is to keep an open orderly channel of communication between all parties to make sure that these areas are resolved if there is an area that you need more clarification on um if something that happened in the classroom please make an appointment with the teacher to discuss your concerns uh 95% of the time that conversation leads to a resolution solution um and we are good to go but there are the other 5% that sometimes we do need to um uh escalated a bit and that would happen if you can contact myself and request a conference between myself the teacher and then we will go ahead and get that resolved and if we can can't come to an understanding or there is more areas of conversation then you can go ahead and fill out the conflict resolution form available about the front office and have a meeting with element school committee uh to further um uh bring have resolution to any issues that may arise um we do have a school uniform for students in kindergarten through 8th grade at both campuses pre preschool students are not required to wear uniform our students are expected to be in a need to clean tidy uniform every single day including the first day of school which is next Tuesday um all uniform shirts must be embroidered with the ale man logo that you see in the middle here we know our students like a break for the uniform so we do have a dress down day scheduled once a month that is announced beforehand and for our dress down day the dress down day we do also have guidelines that we expect our students to follow uh please refer to the student handbook for our full uniform guidelines we do have a slight change this year with our third through fifth grade girls um our third grade girls in particular we are asking that they also wear the polo dress and pants not just the polar shirt with the pants uh so that is a change for the school year for our third graders third grade girls um for our Atwater campus only Monday through Thursday students are expected to bring in lunch from home or purchase a lunch um sorry I see a hand raised um if it's a question not you can put it in the chat or I'll answer it at the end inshallah um before Atwater campus for snack and lunch Monday through Thursday students should always bring their own snacks regardless of um the date is even Friday um even on Fridays on um on the Atwater campus you can also send from home or purchase a lunch from Alma we have lunch cards that that you can purchase on the school website under the parent information lunch cards are only for the Atwater campus to use in Alma lunch cards are different for middle school and Elementary so please make sure you are purchasing the correct 1 on Fridays we have Friday snack and lunch sales um and at the Atwater campus we did send a survey for the Friday lunch and the winners were pies and Shawarma options so you will register your child's quarterly for the 8 to 9 weeks of lunch and if you're not registered please go ahead and send lunch in for your child on Friday we cannot get lunch from the on Fridays because Brothers at 2 in a serving the community so please make sure that you send lunch if you decide not to purchase our Friday lunches our page Road campus inshallah for this year Monday through Friday you are asked to bring a lunch from home or to pre-purchase lunch we will have options for 2 days this year last year we only had the 1 Day this year we will have 2 2 days of option then we'll be sending those forms out if we have not already uh and you will do the same you will register your trial quarterly for 8 to 9 weeks of lunch and if they're not registered please send in lunch to the school every single day um snack um and the office will email the registration form every quarter we are very tough with our deadlines because there is a lot of work that needs to happen after our family sign up you can imagine we are trying to organize lunches for 300 uh over 350 kids it's it's a lot of work so please please make sure you stick to those deadlines as soon as you get the email if you want to sign up go ahead all all our forms are cashless so we make it easy at The Forum you can pay it on your phone and be on your way um we don't do we don't we rarely use cash anymore so um it's good to just take it take care of that as soon as you get the email so you don't miss the deadline food reminders we try to encourage healthy choices for our students we really want to teach them that it's important to eat good food um and to take care of their body as an Amana we ask families please do not send in sugary treats for a child's class don't send the cupcakes the donuts the cakes the candies and all those things if you want to give treats to the class we ask you we ask that you get creative um it can be non-food items that can also be very affordable so please keep that in mind um we also ask that when you are packing your own child's lunch not to send in sugary drinks any of those energy drinks sodas all those things those aren't best choices for young children so please uh and um things that are are healthy and and nurturing for them and please avoid sending any not products because we do have many children on children in both C and all buildings who do have allergies and we want to make sure the environment is safe for them if children do have any type of food allergies or any allergies please go ahead and share that with your child's teacher as well as put it in um the uh School Pro in the forms fill that information out so we um we are aware of that as well 1 minute yes next is carpool um first off please be patient with us the first couple weeks of school while we get things um settled in for carpool we anticipate it for to take longer um don't worry we will make sure that you all get your children um at the Atwater campus uh 4 car pool please make sure that you display the carpool tag that we will give you at open house if you're picking up from both the white and the red building you should display a white tag if you are picking up only from the red building you should display a red tag uh if you are if you are in the white line please don't cross over and cut people who have been waiting in line please please make sure you take your turn also at the Atwater campus we um usually the line goes out and blocks a lot of the neighbors houses please do not block their driveways it is part of our essay to be good neighbors so please make make sure you leave space if there is a driveway so those uh those um individuals can get in and out of their house easily um it's really important to be respectful to our neighbors and um that is something that we ask you to work with us um for and help us out with that um for a page Road campus uh last year our student population was a lot smaller than it is this year so we do anticipate as well carpool will take a little bit longer um you will go ahead and follow the map that you see on the screen and all this information is also on our website so go ahead and get yourself familiar with um the way carpool pick up and drop off is um a reminder for the Atwater campus specifically for the white building that uh students should be dropped off at the gym door not at the glass door is where the where you usually go to pray um because there is nobody waiting for them there we're waiting for your to receive the students by the gym door and please do not especially this happens more at the Atwater campus Do not drop your children off before 7:30 uh because nobody is there to supervise them and it's not good for their our kids the kids to be unsupervised so 7:30 doors open on the dot uh and after that feel free to drop them off until 8:00 um also um we ask that you don't cross through the carpool lines if you're going to park please do uh please park inside um inside the school campus especially on the Atwater campus and then um walk up to get the students um testing schedule we do um take map testing 3 times a year uh in the school calendar you'll see it's highlighted in green students must be present to um for a testing and then your testing if students are not their their promotion to the next grade level is at risk so please make sure the school calendar is there for you please you know print it out put it on your fridge do you know Please be aware of important dates um because this is something that we really expect the kids to be uh be present for um and it's all if you if you do need to have if you do have some issues that come up during testing times again please talk to me send me an email and we'll try to figure out what we can do to make sure that your children um get their testing done um we are also a um we have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to any smart devices cell phone smart watches and glasses uh this is our third year of this policy um and it has been a very successful this in so we ask you to work with a with us especially our older students we do understand they might have cell phones and we do understand as families you just want to ask them something really quickly a lot of times people are you know can I go to you know trying to figure out after school if they're going to go to their friends all the things that happen um but we do ask that the kids don't come in the cell with their cell phone we are very um accessible if they do need to make phone call Michelle Atwater campus and Paige if the kids do need to speak to their parents um it's really easy to call so um please remind your your children that cell phones are not allowed at school if they do bring it and we do take it it's confiscated and we do require an immediate conference with Administration if it happens again suspension again 3-day suspension and if it does happen a fourth time there is disciplinary action because um we really need you aligned with us when it comes to um a spec cell phone use um it is a distraction in the classroom and we really uh don't want it in our classrooms the first week of school which is coming up very soon um what we'd like for you to do what is required of you is to go ahead and to log in to the school Pro Parent Portal again that's the our school information system uh that is where you will track progress across all academic subjects and we ask that you Pro you update your profile to include authorized pickups addresses important School authorizations for your child so you can take care of that even now um if you have moved a phone number has phone numbers have changed please go ahead and update all that information so we have it on hand it's important that we can get in touch with you when we need to um parents are also encouraged to log on weekly to monitor as their child's academic progress the school codes for the 2 are logging into school Pro uh please go ahead and make sure that you are using the correct code the best way to do this is to just go Um and you can see on my screen it says parent info at page in Atwater uh just go to the campus specific 1 um and that will make it easier for you inshallah all right on Monday we have our back to school orientation on both campuses the green flyer is for Atwater the orange flyer is for Paige our day will start off with the Atwater campus our first session being um our kg through fifth uh back to school orientation starting at 9:00 am this year we're doing it a little bit differently we have scheduled time where the teachers will be doing a short presentation and then they'll have some time for Q&A they will have some time for you to see the classrooms but we ask that you come on time for the session so that you can hear all the important information if you are running a little bit late then just you know wait and attend the next session so um so it's not a disruption while the teachers have have started there um for our Middle School we only have 1 Section 1 session from 10:30 to 11:30 it might go a little bit longer than 11:30 um we had to make some adjustments in time but please um you'll come and then you'll be able to um meet all the Middle School teachers and have um your information um hopefully all all the information you need for a successful start to the school year uh for a page Road campus we are going to go ahead and start our sessions out 1:00 so yours will be in the afternoon uh once that the first session will be 1 from 1 1 to 1:15 the second 1 will be from 1:45 to 2 you're welcome to come to either of those sessions um we hope this will help our families who have multiple children so um you can um attend multiple sessions um to make sure that you have all the information you need um our parent teacher communication our teachers in pre-k through fifth grade use class dojo Joe in both our campuses and for our middle schoolers we use talking points I'm not going to say too much about this because your teacher the teachers inshallah open house will give you a lot more information about how to join and so forth but you can go ahead and download the app um before then to make sure that um you're up to date with that information uh so just a quick summary the first week of school we asked that you log on to schoolpro to update all the information I want say on the right side there's little button that says edit profile if you click on that then you'll a you're able to edit all the information um and complete all the forms uh we ask that after Monday you join the parent teacher communication app to stay up to date with your child's class uh like I said give us grace and patience during a drop off and pick up um as we get our routines um settled and please check out the car padio for Atwater campus under parent information um and reach out to your child teacher with any questions or clarifications you might have as we get the year started our website school.org gives you most of this information that I went through so please be familiar with it that's kind of where we house all our information and we are very excited inshallah for the new school year we make the the bless our children and our school um for a successful and a fruitful school year I do know that the strana has probably been Manning the chat and answering questions but if there are any if there's anybody who would like to go ahead and ask uh questions um now uh you can go ahead and unmute and ask or we can continue in the chat and we can answer those questions as they come in you can unmute yourself essay go ahead okay so I come everyone um my name is s hiraani most of you guys know but I'm the big or the Friday sale um coordinator um I know a lot of you guys are messaging me and everything and asking about pricing we will share the pricing of the sandwiches soon um the options will be chicken shawarma um or for anybody that's vegetarian and then the opposite Friday will be pies which will be cheese pies meat pies spinach pies and zaatar pies inshallah so we will be sharing the pricing of the them very soon um so inshallah the kids enjoy it we were trying to give them a big variety and if you have any other questions please continue to feel free to contact me inshallah and just to clarify Sarah is at our Atwater campus um those choices are not for our page Road campus this is the orientation is for both campuses um yeah so we just want to keep a campus specific inshallah if there if need be yes and also we are no longer using Yaba um we're actually using um IMS Halal so if that affects anybody but that inshallah is to everybody's liking so we have a good school year thank thank you Sarah you will find more information about your child's teacher um at the open house we don't we don't traditionally email out teacher information uh like in the beginning you just come to the open house and you will find out home rooms uh teachers and all that information but if you want just general information you can go to staff directory and then um I'll both both campuses directory information is updated assalamu alaykum how are you dear alhamdulillah I'm doing well I think um I don't know if in the past like we got emails about who their teacher would be like especially starting maybe from second grade or who you know so like I mentioned we we do not send that information out you uh that information is shared at the open house okay thank you you're welcome if there are not any other questions um we will wrap up the session um there are the question I'm just I'm just answering a couple okay okay I'll let Rhonda answer through them but while she's answering those couple of questions uh we will be sharing the recording of this uh just in case I know I talk fast I apologize um if you need to review certain areas um but I do encourage you to um get familiar with our say a lot of our school information is there and um uh as well as um coming to the open house will also give you a lot of information that you need for the teacher for your teachers and so forth and my self and sister Rhonda will be um at both campuses for the open house I'm usually in the white building more and she's in the red uh during our Atwater time and we'll both be there for Paige so if there are any other questions that come up you can feel free to ask us uh in person or also you can um email us and we can go ahead and answer your questions more and show Faria there's a a it's just curious as to why the security arm um the security guard at page is not armed um that is something that I have been working at with the iar um they are working to see how they can um have an armed guard right now I think it just um it comes to the resources they have at the moment but it is something that is on the radar for a lot of our campus security we do work in partnership with the iar because they are the parent or organization and security is under their umbrella um it is something that we have discussed uh I don't have an update on it yet but um um it is something that is um on their radar and they are looking to add to that campus so I'm more like um I um saw the question in the chat but I don't think it was answered um are we able to walk our child in on the first day my little 1 will be a kindergartner inshallah page page so um I believe the first day parents can walk in and attend assembly um so that is something that we allow them to do um but just to the butt but we do ask that they just kind of join the line where their classes and the parents just observe from the back um but yes you will be able to walk them in thank you if I didn't answer your question um any other questions on the chat please feel free to just either type it again or just you can just unmute yourself and ask I didn't need to overlook any if you would like um a shortcut before back to um the orientation on day go ahead and download the class dojo if you're a child is Pre-K to fifth grade or talking points for Middle School families just download the app that way it'll be um much easier to to get on your child's classroom and you don't have to use the paid version for either or so don't so don't
