About Me!

Being surrounded by a family of educators has allowed me to find a beautiful career
with a strong balance of passion and appreciation of teaching. I, Nausheen Aleem, am
originally from India and moved to the United States in 1999. This will be my 20th year at Al-Iman School.  I am blessed to have a wonderful family that consists of a very understanding husband and three lovely daughters. It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as your child’s teacher for this upcoming year.

Not every job can change a life but I truly believe that teaching can. Graduating from
Osmania University and my teachers training through London Montessori Center helped
me to pursue my dream of nurturing little kids through love and affection. I have been in
this profession for 30 years teaching elementary classes throughout the United States,
India and Saudi Arabia. During my journey, I have also served as the Sunday school
administrator, team lead, book coordinator and I have overseen after school clubs. This
will be my 18 th year at Al-Iman School. ​During this journey, I have experienced the
opportunities to teach students from various parts of the world which helped me grow
professionally while using different methods of education. Teaching is a passion that
has brought copious amounts of happiness to me!

My mission this year is to challenge my students through differentiated instructions to
grow individually, develop global awareness and become a responsible citizen. My goal
is to make my classroom a place where my students feel safe, enjoy learning and make
this year as their best school year and a memorable one.
