Social Studies: Complete Week 32 test on studiesweekly.com Use your newspaper to find answers. Make sure you do the 2 writing prompts. You must get at least 7/10 to pass. Email me to re-take the test if you score below passing.

Social Studies: Update slide 27 in Social Studies Digital Notebook and complete writing task

Read the questions carefully. Read the passage as many times as you need to.

For the writing prompts, you need to answer each question and elaborate. Do your best to show me your best "typing/writing" skills. Punctutation and spelling count!

Please open up the Google Slides on Friday to view the recording and directions for our ELA and Social Studies assignments. DO BOTH! When you are done, click 'MARK AS DONE'

For your Friday assignments, please watch both recordings for ELA and SS before you begin the work.
Click on the Googleslides that I shared and attached below to watch the recordings.

For ELA, you will need to write a persuasive advertisement in your ELA Digital Notebook.
For SS, you will need to use Week 21 of your two questions in your SS Digital Notebook.

You must complete the assignments by the end of Friday to get attendance credit. You will also get grades for the work you do in SchoolPro.

For this project, you will apply the 5 themes of geography to better understand the area which you live in.
You may use your Studies Weekly (Publication # 5/Week 5) to help you generate ideas. Just like Natalia and Steven, you will be working ona presentation! 🧨🧨I included an example of what the project should look like.🧨🧨

Please do your best to write in complete sentences. Format your slides so they look professional. I would love to see colorful slides, and of course, since this is about YOU, I would love to see the geography surrounding your location and place. I would LOVE to see photos of YOU as well! If you need more space to write, go ahead and add additional slides. THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW ME WHAT YOU'VE LEARNED!

You may use a phone, iPad, school chromebook to take pictures/photographs to help you make this presentation vibrant and full of life. I have attached a website that can help you attach photos if you forgot-- remember, I taught you how to do this! Your parents may help you attach pictures or brainstorm ideas.

Be creative and show me your best work! I will be leaving you comments(feedback) on October 16th so that you may work on improving your slides.

This will be due on October 25.

Rubric: The rubric is attached. You are required to also grade your self where it says "Reflection"

Slide 9- SS (Watch recording) Finish up your "Five Themes of Me!" geography project. It is due today!

If you need help inserting pictures to your project, you have up until Sunday, October 25th. Anything submitted after October 25th will result in a 0.

Wednesday- On paper, complete 1-10
Thursday- On paper, complete 11-20
Friday- Click on the green link and click your answers that you wrote in your notebook. Complete the rest of the questions at your own pace if you did not finish in class, and do the writing prompts. Then submit your test!

For Friday's assignment, you will need your ELA and Social Studies Digital Notebooks that are found under our 'Classwork' tab. Please click on the slide Google Slides, press 'Present' and it will take your to Friday's ELA and Social Studies assignment. Watch the recordings to guide you through your assignments. You may also watch the Youtube video titled, "How to find Friday's assignment" attached below to help guide you through the assignments.

There is nothing new to do, but if you missed class due to technical issues or were absent, you need to make sure you complete this. Always double check and show me your best work. I will grade your Social Studies Journal beginning next Monday. This gives you plenty of time to get caught up!
